Your Inheritence
What You Have Through Christ
When the father of the prodigal son approached the older brother he said,“Son you have always been with me and all that have is yours.” In that brief sentence God confirms our identity and our inheritance. We are his sons and all that our Father has is yours. All the promises of God and all the gifts of the Spirit are available to us today.
“Son, you are always with me, the father said, and all that is mine is yours. But it was fitting to celebrate and rejoice, because this brother of yours was dead and is alive again; he was lost and is found.”
-LUKE 15:31-32
Your Heavenly Father
Who’s You Are
Many Christians have learned to equate God’s character with that of our earthly fathers. In being adopted into the family of God, we no longer only know him as the All Powerful King of Glory but now we have the privilege to know God as a Loving Father who embraces us with open arms and freely declares “My son, you are always with me, and everything I have is yours.” -LUKE 15:31
“The Spirit you received does not make you slaves, so that you live in fear again; rather, the Spirit you received brought about your adoption to sonship. And by him we cry, “Abba, Father.””
-ROMANS 8:15
